Sayonara no Asa ni Yakusokau no Hana o kazarou also known as Let's Decorate the Promised Flowers in the Morning of Farewells / Maquia: When the Promised Flower Blooms is an upcoming Japanese anime film directed and written by Mari Okada and animated by P.A Works. Mari Okada is a Japanese anime screenwriter and working in the anime industry as one of the most creative writers. The film is the directorial debut work for popular anime screenwriter Mari Okada who also worked with some popular anime like Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day, The Anthem of the Heart, Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans, Hanasaku Iroha.

Story Synopsis:
The people of Iolph living quietly weaving daily events into a cloth called Hibioru in a far secluded land. Their people appearance stopped growing in their middle teen and have a lifetime of hundreds of years and are called "A Family of Farewell" and have been regarded as living legends. Maquia, Iolph girl who has lost her parents, was feeling alone somewhere while spending her calm days with her colleagues. However, her peaceful life collapse in a moment as the Mesae Army riding on the ancient old beast called Lenato attack her town to look for Iolph's blood that offers a long life. In the chaos, Iolph's most beautiful woman Leiria is taken by Mesae Army, and Klim, the boy whom Makia has secretly fallen in love with, also goes missing. She somehow manage to escape but doesn't have any place to go and loses her friends. She wanders in the dark forest where she finds a lonely baby who just lost his parents. The baby is named Erial and grows up as a boy whereas she still looks like a girl as time passes. The story follows the changing relationship between the two Erial and Maquia.
Some of the things you need to know about Sayonara no Asa ni Yakusoku no Hana wo Kazarou:
1.Akihiko Yoshida designed the original characters, with the anime character design and chief animation direction being done by Yuriko Ishii. Music will be given by Kenji Kawai and sound director will be Kazuhiro Wakabayashi.
2.The movie will be premiered in Japan on 24 Feb 2018. The first key visual has been released alongside the first teaser which you can watch on youtube.
3. Rionos will be singing the theme song and the movie will feature seiyuu like Ai Kayano, Yuuki Kaji, Miyuki Sawashiro, Rina Satou, Youko Hikasa, and more.
